I have previously purchased 1 Alto 12" Active DJ Speaker, I primarily use it just to connect to my mac laptop and play music from it. The speaker has a duel mixer on the back, so I use a duel 1/4 RCA to 3.5mm Jack to connect it to my computer.

I want to go ahead and purchase another one, How do I go about connecting two speakers to my computer?

Many Thanks, Jordan

Hello Jordan,
not sure from what I've seen on some Alto's rear pictures but believe that you can connect: mac laptop -> Alto (1) -> Alto (2). Means Alto (1) as Master delivers Alto (2) (as slave) ?

Hello Jordan,
What I've see from Alto's manuals it is a XLR connection. Have a look at their
users manual (the one below is the TX 8 but surely represents all of the other Altos).

Page 6, section 7. Link Output:

Use a standard XLR cable (not included) to connect this output (Alto 1) to the input of another loudspeaker (Alto (2)...

Trusting that solves yours.

If you want stereo then, you have to split the signal beforehand. If you look in the local market you can find something like this .

Just take the image along with you and you will be able to set it up nicely(two speakers).
