Is there any power related problem associated with connecting a normal 20inch PC LCD monitor in a van/car? Is there any DC/AC considerations to be made in this case?

Thanx in advance for any help

Regards

normal pc lcd monitor need 230v ac power, in car you have 12V dc, so you need a an inverter for converting 12v to 230v, or you can buy special lcd designed for in car use

^^Thanx mate, but are such special designed ones available at these large sizes or if it does, are those cost effective?

i have seen 15" roof mounted displays in cars, dont know about price, xenarc is one mfgr

maybe it would be easier to do with a 12v to 230v inverter and a normal 20"lcd

Purchase the Audiolab 6000A Integrated Amplifier at a special offer price.
