Use tape out RC to line in of the roar and adjust volume control.
It will not be a variable output and hence you will need to adjust Volume control on the SW.

As the sub does not have hi-level inputs, and your amp does not have line out, your only option is to use two RCA splitter for each source.

like this

.

If you are using any of the input sockets other than tape, then if you press the monitor button then it should loop your input signal to the tape out jacks. You can then connect that to your sub via RCA cables.

If that does not work then kannan's excellent suggestion

the tape monitor option is an easier one if it works on all outputs.
Since you sub takes in 2 RCA (with summation happening internally), I suggest you connect from both left and right channels
which one is a better option? from tape monitor or take the out from rca?

Hello everybody

After going through the thread, I am a bit confused.

Tape out to line in - isn't the line in on the subwoofer only meant for low freq input. Since the tape out will have HF also, will it not damage the woofer? Input to the line in on the sub is usually restricted to sub level out of an amp

I am asking as I have read that tape out should be connected to speaker level in. The HF will be filtered before being sent to the amp plate.

Someone please post a detailed explanation.

Regards.

To do it in a right way, here is what you need.

I know you will kill me because I am suggesting something where leash is more expensive than dog :).

Alternatively, you can try this one but chances are that you may end up getting hum.

surely not spending on this right now, but if the second option gives a better output then i might try that, with the y splitter

i cannot explain exactly what's happening as i am not expert, but i can say this, now the sub is trying to play the HF's too, i guess this is not the ideal way to do it
