correct speakers

hi just bought teac A-R600 120W IN 4 OHM also bought jamo speakers 90w long term at 4 ohm, 120w short term. will work together? also will not blow speakers?listen music only on 1/3 power of amp. please for help:licklips:

Hello Solo,

When a Speakers are 4 or Less Ohms in Spec,then we should worried to match them for Right amp.As Amplifier needs muscle power to drive 4Ohms speakers compared to 6 or ohms.

In your Case Amp can drive 4 Ohms Load, so No prob for the Speakers to Drive them.

So what Jamo Model you are using.

Rule of Thumb: The Speakers needs to be driven atleast 3 Times higher watts Amp.(There is exception for Tube and Class amps anyways)
