Custom made output transformers

Hey all!
I have a two part query:

I am looking for someone who makes custom output transformers in India according to my given specifications. Anyone know someone/company who can do this?

Also, is it worth getting these made in India? Or should one get these from abroad?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Winding OPTs has been described as part art and part science. Going to an experienced power trafo vendor may not get you the desired results. In addition materials and processes need to be monitored to ensure that you get what you want. For one off or two off requirements I've found it better to import. There are many reputed Japanese,Thai, Taiwanese and US vendors of OPTs.

Mains trannies can be easily sourced here, and I have done it many times, for both toroidal, R Core and EI transformers. Good quality and economically priced.
