I see that both Minerva and A6 have optical options too; did you try that combo?

I was reading a review of this DAC on 6Moons and it looks like you will somehow have to connect the DAC to the computer, possibly by using a USB/Firewire adapter. And then you will have to get the management software of the DAC and play with the settings (as alluded to by @keith_correa earlier).

Fireware as a tech, didn't fly. Doubt I will be able to source a fireware. It doesn't take in USB. Let's see. Will try all avenues suggested and report back.
