DAC setup

Hi ,

Currently i have a 5.1 channel setup, my BDP->Denon(1912)->speakers(tannoy & velodyne) for both audio and video. Now my requirment is for music, want to setup MF M1 DAC (Digitial Audio->DAC->Denon 1912-> speakers)...currently due to Budget and space constraint can't afford seperate AMP and Speakers(but those are in my mind for later purchase)

Audiophiles , help me whether this setup is possible?

Why not ... go ahead. It is very possible and probably you would get better sound than present source.

Yes possible. From digital source through USB/COAX/Optical->MF M1 DAC(Through RCA)-> Denon 1912 ->Speaker. You can connect the RCA to the CD input of the 1912.

from my DAC(RCA)->Denon RCA(pure direct mode)->speakers, will bypass the DSP,Bass,video,audessy...hope it will make big difference in music listening (based on good speakers)

Then do consider Arcam irdac. I got one and am quite impressed with its performance. Secondly it will do 24/192 over USB input so it is relatively future proof - of course wont do DSD.
Bonus for me ,the provided remote controls jriver media player, so I can control tracks within albums.

thanks sid for your valuable suggestion, even i was reading the review for this DAC, if you dont mind can you share the price and from where you bought this?

My two addition would be DAC and replacing tannoy mercury to DC6TSE
