DAC suggestions please.

Hearing loads of good online reviews about FiiO E07K DAC... but personally dont know how good it is.

I use my computers 3.5 Jack to connect external speakers via Denon 1513. If I use a USB DAC will it improve the sound quality ?

For starters Fiio E10 has good reviews, and its better specd than E07K as you are not looking for portability.

@Rupam Standalone DAC will surely be better than on-board dac on laptop, but you will need a DAC without amp or one with a line-out if you want to drive an external amp. But all this will show substantial difference with high bit-rate lossless audio formats such as flac/alac/wav.

SQ would definitely improve with a DAC.
You might look at this one on sale in the forum.
Best would be to hear DACs before you buy.

I use Bel Canto 1. Do some research & try to win at ebay. Some renowned vintage stuff is way Better than most new stuff at your price range

Similarly check for Adcom GDA 600 and Assemblage DACs. VFM and top quality after some modding.
