DALI ZENSOR 5 based package or POLK AUDIO A5 Based package?

Already bought AV Receiver Yamaha RX-A840

1. DALI Zensor 5 Front + Dali Zensor Vokal Center + Dali - Zensor 1 for Rear + Velodyne subwoofer.

2. Polk Audio RTi A5 Front + Polk Audio CSi-A4 center + Polk Audio RTI A1 + Velodyne subwoofer.

3. Velodyne subwoofer 10ins or 12 ins?

In case i m tight on budget should i buy Towers + Sub or Towers with Center for the time being.


And if there are any suggestions to change anything like i shd opt for rti a7-zensor7 or diff center-rear or even sub.. please let me know.. i ll really appreciate it..

I would highly recommend you to also audition the Q Acoustics 2000/3000 series 5.1 package.

Q Acoustics is one of the most under rated brand on hifivision forum.

Where i live i wont be able to get demo anywhere.. So which one would u pick out if these 2?

If you ask me, I would not choose either.

I have actually chosen the Q Acoustics over Dali (and few other brands) after auditioning.

But then, don't go by just recommendations. Please audition before you choose anything.

I would skip Polk (somewhat harsh to my ears) and QAcoustics (was not very clear to my ears) but Dali Zensor 7 did sound true to the original music. I had heard quite a few acoustic renditions of several artists in a concert setting with spectacular acoustic treatment and Dali did sound well and could make a close match.
