Dear Guys,

I am discussing a demo peice of Yamaha RX2000 (Aventage Series of 2010-11) with Mr. Mohsin Khan of Avenue Sound. Our fellow FMs from Mumbai would know him......

He seemed to be a very understanding gentleman and has offered me 56000/- as a special price. He is also very much aware of hifivision and has various of our members as his clients. :thumbsup:I have no idea about this set and am looking forward to your suggessions....

I was told that this is yesteryear's stuff and is better than today's stuff with all bells and whistles as they are nothing but just bells and whistles only....!!
Now don't ask me which speakers i am going with.... because that is my next question to all of you.....:D

I have also got hold of Mr. Kausik Mitra of Hertz to custom make a pair of floorstanders for me...

Is it a deal or no deal?

Please pour your views......:signthankspin:

Not sure about the person but the price seems to be quite attractive. That is a very capable AVR with a very refined sound, ideal for both music and movies. And yes. It has almost all the bells and whistles you would expect from a latest AVR. But I always advise people to audition if possible when they spend so much on an equipment.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
