What brand of speakers are you looking to buy?

My cousin brother's friend got a Denon 1911 from singapore 2 month back @ S$630 (Rs.22,000). Some scheme was going on for Denon 1911+Denon Speakers. He did not buy speakers and bought 1911 for S$630. He could manage to clear the customs without any hassles since they were 3 of them together and not carrying much lugguage.

My firend has a Marantz SR5005 Open Box for Rs.34,000/- used for 1 day. If anybody interested PM.

1. Quad 11L
2. Dali ikon 1
3. Polk RTI A1
4. PSB

How these are priced at singapore compare to India? What are the other expected overheads?

Check quads and dalis , not sure if its worth getting polks and psbs from there as the price difference is notmuch...

Is Denon 791 better than Denon 1911?

Yes,if you compare both,791 is also good for stereo listening too.How?-

Hi!

Since the AVR will be brought from abroad ,the warranties will be void mostly.
In that case the 1911 can be bought in India in the grey for around 30- 32 k.
Price in Dec 2010 in Mumbai.
