Within a range, the thicker the better, for sales. Girth matters!
The current your speaker cables carry cannot be enhanced by a shovel at the end. So, best to solder your cables direct to the crossover board, and do an AB-X double blind with a boombox.

Yes.. I have observed the difference. Slim spade terminals can sit and fastened in binding post better than the thicker one.Dear All,

Thanks bro for your edvice.Hi Rupy. I just measured the spades. The monster cable spade is about 1.5 mm in girth. The other pair may be just a bit thinner. However both function well and I am happier with them rather than the banana plugs. However I have seen than some equipment, though claiming spade compatibility, somehow don’t accept spades! Or maybe I am doing something wrong. Anyhow do tell us whether you have fitted the same and did you find a difference. Thanks
