Edifier DA5000Pro Speakers + creative Sound Blaster ?

Hello,

Now I am using Edifier DA5000 PRO (5.1) speakers and Creative Sound Blaster 5.1 pro (USB card).is it good combination?I feel like it is not good that is the reason I am planing to buy Home Theatre (AVR (Denon)+ Speakers (polk rm 705) ) ,suggest me.is it best which is I have present or shall I go for Home Theatre?

The AVR+Speaker combo will beat your edifier anyday.

visit my dabba speaker avoidance thread , it will give info on why the pure stereo always better than so called ,5.1 or 2.1

my recommendation as SB pro has coloration due to DSP ,

get a EMU 0404 and tripath amp ,2 mini towers .. you will be relieved from ear pain (edifier )

Edifier /fnd etc use a pretty bad set of components procured via china suppliers .

Edifier is clever making the catalogs. they market the speakers with DB rating, telling good crossovers , magnet research .
The packaging is also very good , no newbie can escape that trap .
