Hello Guyz, just joined here. Wanted to upgrade my PC speakers and need some suggestion, present speakers are Altec Lansing 641, have been running them for the last 7-8 Years, just that getting bored of them. Can spend higher for a HTIB if there is something which provides amazing quality and perceived value for money, otherwise around 25K is what I am looking to spend. Was looking for S550, then got to know about S750 which seem to be at a stage of about to be launched for last 2 Years, :indifferent14:, so any latest news about S750 from people who are more into audio?? or any other suggestion???

Whats the main purpose ? Whats the Movie:Music ratio? Do u intend to upgrade the setup after sometime, say 6 months down the line - or is it a one time investment for the next 3-4 years??

I would say, Movies/Seasons : 80%, Games : 15%, Music : 5%(I listen my music mostly through AD700/TF10 and very soon D2000 on N900/Ipad) and yeah, if the quality is worthwhile, I can go for 2.1 now and make it 5.1 later, infact I do not have a limited budget, can go for even 5.1 directly if as I said earlier suggested HTIBs perceived value for money is very good.

^^^^They have all the models, but when I called them up, they have no stock and suggested me to visit Edifiers site instead, :(, sorry state of online buying in India.

So any inputs from more experienced audiophiles on what HTIB I can go for Movies/Games.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
