Finally bought Airtel DTH HD

Hi guys, i bought it finally...Learned a lot from the customer care guys....They don't even understand basic english(10th class) and neither they can speak...Their south customer care is the worst in the lot....And the booking guys are junk...i mean total shit....

Congrates Sukhas... You have overcome the very first hurdle. Airtel's DTH customer care is definitely worst in the world !
But I'm sure you gonna enjoy Airtel DTH as it has got a good list of HD channels and bunch of regional channels to suit South customers. Recently, the audio level of HD channels has improved a lot (as most of them were DRC affected earlier, but now it seems to exist only in StarMovies HD and Discovery HD). Just feel the DRC free sound on Movies Now HD, it's damn good Dolby Digital 5.1 audio!

i guess i need to buy an optical cable to get the 5.1 audio.....

Just look for any Toslink Optical Cable and it will work fine.
I had bought Bandridge cable in Rs. 499 ...6 months back.
