Taking a plunge in to HiFi, need your esteemed opinion on
:licklips:floorstanders or bookshelves for AVR. Either I will go in for Pioneer VSX-924 or ONKYO TX-NR636, needed for 50% movies and 50% music
Need is for floorstanders/ bookshelves as of now will add a center speaker and a sub later on if needed. My Hall Room is a problem cause its in a L shape and the speakers will be in the shorter part of the L with sitting position just on the opposite side.
Since space is a concern here I will not be able to put my speakers a few feet away from the wall as is being suggested by audiophiles here. So please suggest ones which do well when being closer to walls. I need speakers which will give out balanced output from hi, mid and lows. Would be great if they are not rear ported in my case.
Aha forgot the big one here BUGDET, around 60-70 K
