I think the only dish that will make salivate is Chole Bhature from Chacha Di Hatti in Kamala Nagar in Delhi.

There are other dishes that I will mention down the line.

Cheers

Like a true blue Punjabi-
-Piping hot Lacchha parathas with a dollop of white, homemade butter melting on it & a big glass of Chaach.
-Makki ki Roti & Sarson ka Saag, with dollops of butter, with chilled Kingfisher draught beer
-Shami Kababs from Frontier Meat Shop, Savitri Cinema complex,South Delhi,
with whisky on the rocks.

I hv had a thing for south Indian cousine -
- Crispy Masala dosa with a nearly clear sambar without smudged vegetables has always been exotic for me since as early as i can remember. I can live with a daily dose of them like my Quad bookshelves.

- crispy well made Vadas with chutney is also mouthwatering. Else Upma, Rasam, Lemon rice, Tomato rice are like a Rhondo Red cart !

- Have also been quite fond of - The typical Butter Chicken gravy from yesteryears.

- Rogan Josh, Kebabs, tikkas and biryani tops the list in non-veg

- in Veg Gobi Ka Parantha makes my mouth water like It does whenever i see an Accuphase amp!

..Thank God that of the two ..atleast Paranthas are still affordable ;)

Bon Apetite!

We grow our own in the garden, and get it squeezed --- not that the process is particularly cheap, but, hey, it's for the satisfaction.

However, even with lots of lime added, I can't drink more than a small glass. I guess it must be the ultimate sweet!

(1) Freshly cut Alphonso and Bangnapally mangoes diced with whipped Nilgiris fresh cream mixed with sugar. This, after dinner, is absolute bliss. Always makes me lick the plate clean.

(2) Well made Vatthal Kozhumbu with hot rice and fried paapads.

(3) Again, tomato rasam with hot rice, and fried paapads.

(4) Raajma masala made by my wife along with thin rotis and onions to go.

(5) Aaloo Mutter and rotis from Copper Chimney during winter.

Cheers

- Chicken in pretty much all avatars. Rolls, kebabs, noodles, with gravy, without gravy, before drinks, after drinks, between drinks, with drinks, KFC, burgers...just has to be cooked. ;) Not a mutton fan really.
- Chhole Kulchay (not bathuras) because they are cheap, tasty, fulfilling and less fat.
- Maggi. But I have started liking Smith & Jones curry noodles better, they are more spicy.
- Puri aloo.
- Veg biryani made by mom.

Wrong timing for the thread, or rather for me to post here. Now I am gonna get all crazy finding out some food in the kitchen !

Nice Mouth Watering Thread CorElement:clapping:.

I am big time foodie, even if I say so myself. If I like something, I just can't stop myself and get into "Glutton" mode. While I like to pamper myself and my family with tasty food, I avoid 5 star hotels as the bills leaves a bad taste:lol:. Street Food, Darshinis (self serve hotels), restaurants upto 3 star are fine with me.
