Forgotten gem for audio passthrough

So, I was not pleased with Fire Cube 2nd gen as it can't passthrough Dolby TrueHD Atmos to the AVR and downmixes everything to Dolby Digital Plus, and was raking my head ad to what I should get. I was contemplating between Nvidia Shield and Ziddoo for passthrough needs.

Yesterday, it occured to me that I have a pretty powerful GPU and PC lying in my TV unit, which I had completely forgotten about. My year old Xbox Series S.

I installed Kodi on it, set it up to sync the library from the Emby media server, turned on all audio passthrough settings and voila!!

I can now passthrough Dolby TrueHD Atmos and DTS HDMA via the Xbox, and it definitely sounds better.

Now I just need to get a Xbox Media Remote (Using the controller or Yatse app sucks)

Hi... Asus O'Play Mini ticks all the boxes for audio passthrough, Dolby Atmos, DTS X , Dolby TrueHD Atmos, DTS HDMA. Limitation is video playback, can handle only full hd 1080p.
