Hi All,

While searching for a locally available stuff to coat foam surrounds (for long life and also making it air tight), I came across this fabric glue.

The following are some of the characteristics of the glue:-
1) Seals foam surrounds.
2) Adds a light glossy sheen to new surrounds.
3) Gives a "wet-look".
4) Is white in color and becomes transparent on drying.
5) Is rubbery after drying.
6) Does not crack on bending.

Is it the same stuff that is used elsewhere too for the same job, but with a different name, for e.g.foam guard etc?

Thanks,
Goldy

Putting glue on foam may change the speaker characteristics..

to the OP
it WILL change them
and since your not the designer i would never advice it unless the speaker designer gives instructions

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
