Good Cable for Floorstanding speakers

Could you please do let me know some good cables (with AWG range) for floorstanding and center speakers of a good 5.1 home theater system.

What is your budget? Length required? I'm using both QED42 and DAC cables. Very good and VFM.

I am using Chord Silverscreen 14 AWG for fronts costing 300 / metre.. 2 yrs back and DAC 16 AWG cables for rears at 80 / metre.

If you have budget go for 12 AWG for fronts but remembers that less the AWG thicker the wire and you might have problems fitting them on binding posts unless you buy banana plugs. But your system and ear have to be both "capable" enough to perceive the difference in AQ between 12 and 14 AWG

IMHO....if you have money to spend, spend it on room treatment. Result will be enormous, as good as upgrading from HTIB's to HiFi
