Any low price speaker that's good for guitar amplifier usage ? mainly playing rock and metal. in 10-12" range looking @ ahuja drivers. AS12-X100 or SK-12FRX. Any input would be appreciated.

In my opinion - either your amp or your speaker should do the following things when using for guitars:
1) Roll off the low end below 80 Hz. Roll off anything above 6000 Hz. Both roll-offs to be very sharp
2) Emphasize the 2000-4000 Hz range for increasing the power and projection
That's it.
