Good quality coax cable..

would need suggestion for a good quality digital interconnect - coax cable.

I saw one from QUAD costing close to 10K, not sure if it's worth it.

One enquiry close to where I live suggested Audioquest cables that's out of stock costing around 2.5K.

Kindly suggest if there are ones that could be ordered over web and of good quality.

DAC: stereo amp Rotel RA12 comes with inbuilt DAC.
Hence transport will be digital out to Rotel amp.

If you have been to Ritchie street, you should find MX brand outlet (Vinsun Agencies) right opp to the police booth... You will get good co-axial cables for around 500 ~ 800Rs... I have used MX products & they are good for the money...

DAC coax cable is very good. It's available in hifimart. You can also go with Canara which is on sale in forum.

One of the interconnects (Source to Pre) I use is homemade from the Belden 1505A coaxial cable and cheap terminals costed me Rs.150 for a meter and Rs.100 for the 4 terminals. They sound as good as any of the other Kimber, Viper, Chord interconnects in my chain.

That being said they did sound bad at a friend's place. Lesson: If you have low efficiency speakers run with high powered amps, you will have to try out different options to figure out which one works for you.

Airtel use RG6 Cable with solid core copper conductor

a 1.5M run of this RG6 cable, with the solid copper core

connected to local gold plated RCA Jacks and the shielding crimped

does a very good Job for the Digital Co axial Signal

I am using with Hi End DAC and oppo 93 and it works good

just cut a bit of extra cable from the Airtel set top box side and used it

the canare and blue jean cables are almost the same
both are decent entry level cables

you cant really go wrong with them in budget gear

for belden
the 1694A will do a better job that the 1505

in fact the blue jeans uses the 1694
