Hafler xl 280 Power Amplifier

Iam being offered a hafler xl280 power amplifier . As in my other thread for Marantz PM7200 will this be best suited for a combination of mArantz PM7200 ( to be used as pre amplifier ) hafler xl280 as power amp and speakers JBL 4412A . Requesting inputs from members . I don’t understand the technical specifications much so requesting suggestions and guidance .

Just saw your post. If you have the facility to demo the combination of Marantz 7200 (as Pre) and Hafler xl280 (as Power) with the JBL 4412A, then I suggest that you do a comparison and then take a call. As JBL’s may not be power hungry, but by adding Hafler xl280 power amp, the staging & imaging of the sound will certainly improve and make listening for longer periods more relaxing.
