Has Andrew Jones done it again? Ownership experience of the MoFi 888 Floorstanders

Dear friends,

I've had these speakers on display for a few weeks and am amazed how these have gradually opened up with some burn-in, combining the accurate imaging and midrange purity of the earlier stand-mounts (SP8 and SP10) with the deep tight bass from the dual 8" woofers, punching well above their price class. More comments from me later, but in the meanwhile, I'd love to hear from others about their ownership experience.

I have the Sp8, and am in love with it. Given enough space from the rear and side walls, the immediacy and palpability of the music performance is borderline spooky. The soundstage is enormous and the imaging is laser sharp, and the 8" mid-woofer hits hard and deep unlike other anemic 6" bookshelves of similar size. I believe AJ introduced a 10" version of the 888 in Munich.
