Hathaway HD in Mumbai - Poor Quality

Have been using Hathaway HD for couple of months. The picture quality on HD channels is quite dismal. The picture freezes frequently on almost all HD channels.

Tried complaining to the cable operator as well to the Hathway call Center - but they did not do anything.

Guess they don't care !!

Any one else who has had a bad experience with hathaway HD?

Don't know about HD chs but i have SD box and Hathway Cable sucks big time, they have no check over picture quality, audio levels of all chs as audio on some chs is very high and on some its very low, many times they don't pay to broadcasters hence chs get discontinued.

If u complain to Hathway then u come across even more pathetic cust care and no one responds even if u complaint may times

using hathway HD for more than a year now and i have no complaints regarding the pic quality ...u might be facing some problem cos of wire issue or signal issues..

They need to change the signal strength. Maybe its little less or more then what it should be. That causes picture to freeze

Not a major issue and can be corrected in matter of few minutes but its the duty of Hathway to address the complaint on time

HD channel picture quality is good, but you would get 5.1 sound only in a few channels, less than most dth i think. Also customer service is pathetic in most places, unless you are lucky to get a good cable operator. Most of the time I have to email their nodal officer to get things done in case of problems. Now the local guys address my complaints quickly, but it is still unprofessional.

HD Chanel's PQ is not good. Images freeze frequently and the overall viewing experience is jerky.

Using Hathway in Mumbai, feels like the mid-90s era. You get whatever the cable guy decides, you just pay the fees and don't bother about Cust service/ cust choice, or other such newfangled BS. Any channel can go/come at any time. Eat it or beat it.

Think the rumours that it is a Sharad Pawar backed organisation, hence powerful/indifferent have some truth in them..
