Folks,
If I have 720p content on my HDD, will the playback quality be different if I connect it via USB or play it via a WD Media Player via HDMI?
Will all picture setup features be available if I am streaming via USB?
I read somewhere that some features are disabled if the input is not HDMI.
Is it true?
TIA
Shashank

what tv make and model you have.. if it detects ntfs.. it will be able to play files via usb.

also depends on codec support of the model.. else just expect basic divx...

Hmm.. I meant that if there are both options available and assumption being that the media will play in both options, is there a difference in playback?

any independant media player will outperform any tv in playing media..

will be lot smmothers in playback and also audio and video codec..

tv usb is given for basic functionality purpose..

So let me give some context now..
I need a 32'' TV for the bedroom. Apart from DTH SD/HD, I have 720/24p material in my HDD which I would want to play in the best way.
I have a hard limit on my budget at 40k.
What are my best options?
Does my budget get reduced further because I need to buy WD Live (even if the TV plays the content via USB)?

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
