HDMI 2 Sound Out SANYO

Hi All,

I have a budget full HD tv bought in 2017 model number (sanyo nxt xt-43s7200f). Its 2nd hdmi port is marked as 'Sound Out'. Is this HDMI Arc? Can i connect a HDMI arc compatible soundbar via this?

For the audio receiver control Sound Out, firstly you must have a device which supports HDMI Sound Out, then connect it to the HDMI2 port. When the "Sound Out Setting" is enabled on your TV, the TV set's speakers will mute automatically and the audio will be outputted on your sound device system

This is what your TV manual says! What a way to confuse customers! A reviewer in amazon says it has ARC another says it doesnt! A couple of people have mentioned using a home theatre. So I guess you can try and connect a sound bar through hdmi and test.

Sanyo has its own terminology for HDMI ARC and I think it will work.
