HDMI cable help needed

guys

I need to buy a 10M HDMI cable to connect my PC to my LED. Any advice on brand and/or source?

I do have 2x5m cables and a connector but the quality was too degraded on the LED.

I bought MX brand recently and looked good to me. Was suggested by friends and couple of folks from here. Give it a try.

@Baiju you could help me here....

My setup - PLayON HD Media PLayer <HDMI (provided by Playon)> AVR Denon 1911 <HDMI (bainbridge 1.3)> Plasma Full HD TV.

Problem - When I keep the Media Player's settings as 1080i/50hz or 1080i/ 60 Hz, everything runs smooth. I can navigate the UI/ Menu of the media player and browse through my movie and play it off. No problems, Video is clear, Audio is HD. But I wonder, why not try 1080p.

So i changed the Media player's settings to 1080p/50Hz or 1080p/60 Hz. If I change these settings while watching a movie I see the 3-4 white lines flickering for a fraction of a second on the screen and these keeps recurring. When the white lines appear the audio gets disrupted as well.

Now some Diagnosis - This time I didn't change the setting from 1080i to 1080p while watching a movie. Rather I stopped the movie, reached the Media Player menu and then changed it to 1080p. Now when I played the movie, it played flawlessly in 1080p mode without any lines or problems. It was perfect.
BUT !!!!
As soon as the I stop the movie and come to the menu of the Media Player, the screen starts going completely black and then comes back again, when i try to browse my menu. So if I have to scroll through 3 movies, the screen would go black 3 times and then come again. This is highly annoying.

I have 2 HDMI cables. One came with the Media Player and other is from Bainbridge which I bought from Reliance Digital. I am not sure, but my friends say this could be a problem with the HDMI cable, or may be 6.68 Gbps is not enough for you, so try with a 10.2 Gbps cable.

I am yet to swap the HDMI cables and see if this helps. But I thought if any one else faced the same problem... they could help me.

Found a HDMI cable 10.2 Gbps Belkin on eBay for 570+55/- shipping.
Similar is 992 Rs on Flipkart

Please advise - I think first action should be to swap cables and see if it works, if it doesn't then order a Belkin 10.2 gbps one?
Can someone help me with a 10.2gbps cable of MX brand?

Connect the player directly to TV and check whether the problem persists by swapping the cables. The problem may also be due to hdmi handshake issue with AVR.

Thanks baiju, thats a good tip. I will try connecting it directly to TV and see.
What if the issue is actually of handshake with AVR? How do we fix that?

Now days I use the WireWorld Chroma HDMI cables and I'm very happy with them.
Before I used HDMI cables from Supra, but their contacts didnt really make a good connection in either my reciver or TV, so after swapping out there was a real lift in both audio and video quality.
Make sure the cable fits well and doesnt glitch and you be good :-)
