Hi guys

I have a 20x14 room. Its not perfect - look at the pic attached.
The projector will stretch from the one end of the outer wedge to the other - 102".

My observations
1. The cupboards on the left side are not ideal but manageable because they have limited off-white and even that is rather dull.
2. The wall behind is a darker and a more dull shade of saffron. Should I make this cholcolate?
3. What about the ceiling?
4. I also plan to make a portion of the side-wall dark - but what about the mirror - how bad is that?

I am not going to have an earth shattering setup. I'll probably have Sony 40ES and Yamaha YHT299. Mainly looking to maximize the great Sony 40es and getting half-decent audio within my limitations.

I can call this a dedicated HT room now - but could be occupied for non-HT if need be.

Looking for opinions/suggestions.

Many thanks :)

Which wall will the screen be mounted to? I would recommend 3 things:
1. Screen wall painted matte black.
2. Get rid of the mirror.
3. Generally paint all walls darker colors, chocolate (darkest one in the palette) like you are thinking will work well.
Cheers,

Many thanks for your inputs. I will keep your suggestions in mind.

Things changing fast - I am now considering building a dedicated HT room from scratch. Will post new thread.
