Help needed for HT set-up (DENON -1612)

(P.S. = I may have had answers to my earlier post but somehow i am unable to trace their responses )

Hello friends,

I have decided to go for the DENON AVR 1612. ( pls let me know if you have suggestions)

My room size is - 17 ft x 12ft
Listening preference - 70% Music ; 30% Movies

Kindly suggest :

1. Floor Speakers - (Make and Price)
2. Woofer/Sub - (Make and Price)
3. Satellite speakers - (Make and Price)
4. Centre speaker

My Budget is @1,00,000/- for the whole package (5.1)
Also, please let me know where to buy these from. (I am in Pune)., What should i buy first ,the AVR or the FS speakers.. etc..would help me in buying the right package...

P.S. - I have the cabling for speakers already in place.

Have you taken any demo. If yes please share your experience.
If not try to get demo for these systems:
While going for demo try listening to the FS alone since in my opinion music is better on stereo.

Polk Rti Series
Monitor Audio M Series. For FS try M4 and M6.
MS Aviano series.
Tannoys V4 and matching setup.

I see you have decided on 1612. Can you please tell how much is it costing you.
Personally i feel denon has the right mix to play both music and movie.
But still its advisable to not purchase your AVR before deciding on your speakers.
Also depending on your speakers 1612 might become under-powered unless you plan to buy a separate amp. So first decide on speakers.
