What is the height of the room? If it 10' I would suggest to go for false ceiling and bring it down to 9'. Anything other 10' is fine.

As this is under construction room, can you block that window permanently? Ideal for an AV room without any window.

There are so many options to choose from when it comes to equipment. 1.1L is decent budget to start with. In fact I think you should club the budget and bring it up to 2.6L for the entire system. As you will get great projector for around a lac or so.

yeah , probably closing the window and yeah fall celling is planned there . what about the models for the av receiver , speaker set?? how are jamo ???
wats the major difference between jamo vs polk audio ??

For make and model you have to visit local HT shops and listen to them. There are many options out there and you have to listen to find what appeals to you. Marantz SR5009 has Bluetooth as your requirement. For a cheaper option you can check Yamaha V477.

Jamo & Polk Audio are both good brands for HT speakers. The difference would be in sound signature. Try to get audition of both along with others and see what you like.

Consider Book Shelf + Sub combo than a Floor Stander.....

Most AVR's today are network enabled... So you can play from your phone to your AVR over wired/wi-fi ....

Auditioned the Jamo 426 and the Polk 220 bookshelves, I found the Jamos too sharp as compared to Polks. Polks had a better bass.

Hi koushik,

Any idea if the Marantz sr5009 sold on amazon.in or snapdeal.com would be 230V or 110V? just trying to figure out if it'd require a step down transformer.
