Help needed

when i try to connect my transcend 160gb hard drive or ipod classic 80gb to either philips 366 or mitashi 317 dvd player it says empty.whereas ipod video is working on both dvd players.Anybody know the reason ...

Hi,

check if your USB is 2.0(DVD players)bcos 1.1 will not support videos.

secondly your HD should be formatted in Fat32.

Your ipod video format may be different than your DVD player can read.

Y'day i checked in philips 3266 usb 2.0 dvd player & it worked perfectly ... thanks.
