Hello buddies........

I have a Yamaha RX-V463 reciever.
I play audio files via usb.

now the problem is that the reciever doesn't display the files in the list.
it plays fine but i can't choose or see which track to play.

no folders are shown.
it just simply plays only.

i had tried two pen drives "Thumb Drive & Kingston Drive".
both formatted wid FAT32.

pls guys let me know the pen drive from which i can choose tracks and select.

thanks.

Do you see anything at all on your screen?

what are your video settings? Usually it should be set to aux or USB to show the list.

i am using the reciever for only audio.
not connected the TV Video via Reciever.

isn't the reiever supposed to show the files in the tiny display it has.
i had gone through the manuals.

pls let me know if it will only show files on the tv attached.

thanks

Hi Tinny

I have not seen this particular model but in the others ones from Yamaha, I dont' believe you will be able to see the playlist on the front panel. You should be connected to a video monitor to view the folders etc.

Anyone comment on this please?

I don't think any of the DVD Players or AVRs display USB file/directory on their own display. They are all routed to the TV when connected. The Oppo 983, the Pioneer 610, and my Onkyo all have to be connected to the TV for display of USB material.

Cheers
