Hello Folks,
I have these old ( circa 2005) JBL E100 Northridge tower speakers. I recently broke them in ( they were idle for may years before I actually got to using them) using the reverse polarity on one speaker and facing each other method. After about 50/70 hours or so I hooked them up normally and noticed that one of the tweeters in one speaker is noticeably quieter than the other .Enough to make out from 8 feet away while listening to both. I though the tweeter either worked or did not but never knew they could work at a lower volume.
I removed the driver to inspect and everything seems alright. The connections are solid and cabling looks good. Now I think its maybe the cross over.
Any suggestions on how to go about it. I am not well acquainted with electric circuitry etc. I have the manual that explains what is where but its of course greek to me.
Thanks in advance.
