I was listening to a Bose Lifestyle at a friend's place and liked it very much. Good sound, nice bass effect and clarity was quite good as well.
As we listened to various tracks (Rock, Jazz, Folk, Country, Metal, Instrumental), we got talking about the adv/disadvantages of a homogeneous setup vs a heterogeneous (mix-n-match) one. After 5 something hours of music, talk about Audio systems, nothing conclusive came out. So, I'm posing this query here -
Any thoughts on what's a better buy -
a) Bose Lifestyle 18/25 VERSUS
b) Denon/Yamaha/Cambridge with a QAcoustic1000/2000 series?
In cases of such good Sound quality on both options, what are the key differentiators? Any thoughts ?
