Hi End home theatre system - Gurgaon/Delhi

Avenue sound is not an authorized dealer/retailer. They import the products from abroad and such goods shall not be covered under manufacturer's warranty.

I have provided the link so that he is informed of the difference and loot in such products in the market. Avenue Sound is very much respected in the Forum and owner is always ready to help. Many FMs here can vouch for that.

I bought RC Micro System around one year back from an authorized dealer with B & W for just 33K while in my initial enquiry and during demo one of the dealer quoted around 50K.

So it is very important to be informed .

Also regarding DX1 system, pricing is unreasonably high as this system was available for 42K around one year back and I still believe that it is not worth more than 45-50K as in the price range of we can get Andrew Jones designed 5.1 with Floor standing speakers

Anybody can do a search over internet and provide the price but real prices are difficult to find. I hope people should appreciate when somebody provides the real bargained price.

Thanks

Please read my previous post carefully. I have mentioned in my post that the prices are only indicative and discount part as well.

BTW the final price is dynamic and doesn't necessarily be the same as you got and tend to vary from dealer to dealer. I am not against avenue sound but just wanted to mention the fact that they sell imported stuff.

And FYI the prices I have mentioned are all quoted from authorized dealers not from internet search. Finally it boils down to the negotiating skills of the buyer to get a thrifty deal.

P.S: No hard feelings bro, just shared the info whatever I have got in the interest of fellow members. :)

Cinebels - MGF Metropolitan, Gurgaon

Visit all of them, spend a plenty of time auditioning your choices and take quotes for final prices (Don't forget to negotiate hard). AFAIK Bass N Treble offers good deals on stuff, don't know about the rest though. Vinay should be of more help than me to guide you in this regard.

Hi, can someone please guide me regarding the difficult choice b/w Energy RC micro or the BA soundware xs. I know both are capable speakers & from very reputed brands , but if budget is not an issue which of these is a better choice for a bedroom ( 14 X 12 feet). Anyone who has had the chance to audition both may kindly give me valuable opinion. Any other better satellite system in the 50k range. Thanks in advance.

These are good starting points to audition. I am not sure if Cinebels is still there @ Metropolitan Mall> last time when I visited there , it was closed and perhaps shifted to Lajpat Nagar.

Try to call before you go, so that they can provide you proper time and attention.

Do not buy @ first impression and take your time before finalise anything. Also must visit is the Onkyo Store @ Chtaranjan Park N.Delhi

If price is no barrier for you, go with Energy RC Micro/Take classic. These are very capable speakers but make a final decision only after auditioning them.

Please give rating for below speakers.

- WHARFEDALE DX1 HCP
- Wharfedale Diamond 122

Bahut costly hai dosto :)
If you ask me, in that budget you should just go for a HTIB like the Onkyo 5400. I saw the system at Reliance Digital for about 47K+. It used to sell for 55K or so earlier. I have heard this system and at the price it is unbeatable. You must listen to it to believe - audition and go for it if you like.
People have said good things about Yamaha 299 as well.
Everybody thinks he needs the absolute best system but trust me, most of us cannot tell the difference especially in movies.
Spend wisely and only spend on what YOU need. You will have opportunities to upgrade after few years if you think you need better.

Latest update from my side, i have finalised AVR.

AVR - Marantz SR-5008

Polk Audio CSI A4 (Center)
