Hindi movies EP ( 45 & 33 1/3) only title list.

Soundtracks that came out in 7" size only are called "cancelled numbers" by those in trade. I know somebody who has nearly 2000 of these. He wants to sell this collection for a few lakh rupees. He is not willing to break it up.

Not much long back i found one kabadi selling 150 mixed titles for ?15/ep in good condition but that time i was not that much into collecting records Now regreting though i have bought many ep for ?3 each that include kora kagaz, chhoti si baat

As far as I remember Taxi Driver/ Funtoosh lp has full songs. However sound quality is very average. The original Angel eps sound much much better. But obviously you will not get all the songs. Further a few songs may be truncated

Yes, most of those reissues had complete songs, but average quality. But I was surprised to see Tere Ghar Ke Saamne reissue LP. They could have included the complete songs in that LP, but no, most songs are truncated. If I remember, TGKS also never had an Angel LP release.

Some more RD Burman 1970s soundtracks that never saw an LP release and had only EP, SP, or Super 7 release: Dil Ka Raja, Raaja, Bada Kabootar, Imaan, Charitraheen, Goonj, Madhosh, Rani Mera Naam, Trimurti, Waris, Do Phool, Bhanwar, Ujala Hi Ujala, Bhala Manus, Naukri.

Bappi Lahiri: Nanha Shikari, Pratima Aur Payal, Gumsoom
Rajesh Roshan: Priyatama, Kunwara Baap, Charandas, Zindagi

This is from memory. There are many Salil Chowdhury, Laxmi-Pyare, Kalyanji Anandji soundtracks also only 7-inch release.

About tere ghar k samne yeah i was mad why did they cut starting music and first line of song dil ka banwar kare pukaar.

Does any other label other than hmv and polydor have 7" 33 1/3 records if yes then what they call them HMV have "super 7" , Polydor have "maxi EP".

Megaphone used the term Super Extended Play, I think, for their 7-inch 33 1/3 rpm records.
