Anyone know who else is doing Hisense 4K Clones apart from VU?

Ideally Looking for a 55 inch Model with HDR.

VU, TCL, Haier, Cloudwalker and such other budget brands are very lucrative with their price. Just for knowledge, TatacliQ is offering Nanocell TV 55UJ752T in an unbelievable price of 1.08 lakhs. Though the price isn't in cheaper category by any means, still its a steal in that price. After considering the review of that LG model, all the budget (fake HDR) TVs aren't gonna be that impressive any more.

Therein lies the rub the big three have overpriced their TV's in India. Compare Models sold by Sony/Samsung/LG with USA and Europe and they are 20%+ more in India.

When Vincent Teoh from hdtvtest.co.uk highly recommends Hisense as a worthy brand I sit up take notice. Unfortunately Hisense dont sell directly in India so have to look at clones.

Then importing Hisense TVs from Duty free countries like Thailand, would definitely solve out the issue. We would loose the warranty by importing a Hisense TV. But its worthy as we would get it even more cheaper there. Any way VU services in India is pathetic. Last year VU had 3 years warranty policy, now its only 1 year. We can go for Sony/Samsung/LG trusting a better after sales services.
