In general the US market is saturated with electronics so their value is considerably lower in the used market compared to the rest of the world. In India I would say double the lowest value in the us and add shipping. That's why 12k Max.

It all depends on the condition. Handling and usage has a great role to play. Cosmetics as well as internals,

I would say, 8k in general but don't keep very hgih hopes ion HFV in particular. It has lot of Bose bashers (there may be many Bose lovers too but they may express themselves). By the way they look quite different from latest 301s (which has one tweeter in front and one behind, probably series V is going on)

I think we bash modern day bose more because their consumer stuff use very low grade material. There used to be an FM who worked in bose engineering and development and he himself was appalled at the quality of the materials being used in their devices. I dont remember his name but I know he quit bose came to india, now moved to paris to work with another company.

All in the know are aware that your talking about FM audio_engr AKA dont remember his name who was banned from this forum.

Thanks guyz for ur ideas...they sing so sweet....they easily beat mordaunt short carnival 8 floorstanders and other mission bookshelf speakers that we have in our friends circle...give it full watts and no distortion at all.,,all u get is pleasing sound for ur ears..

its a heart stopping decision whether to sell it or keep it...if they sell for less than 10k i better keep it...

All in the know?? huh?

Anyway yes, Audio engineer, that was him. I didn't realize he was banned.

You are unnecessarily flogging a 'dead horse', advise you to move on & stop derailing threads.

those words exactly matches my thinking but often when i see new speakers i take a look at this decision...

All is well that ends well. Be happy with your Bose Speakers :)
