How should I connect the projector to the receiver?

I have shortlisted Pioneer VSX330 AVR for my new theater room, but I have a serious doubt how should I connect the projectors to the avr. Please clarify


1. HDMI input from my laptop, I will play Videos from my laptop.

2. HDMI output to Projector, here's the thing I want only video to transmit to the projector. Audio should play from my receiver

3. If the HDMI output in the 2nd point doesnt work, shall I use this RCA for video output ? At the sametime audio being played from the receiver ?

Its actually zimple!
HDMI from laptop to HDMI In of receiver
Receiver plays the sound thru speakers connected to it, and passes Video thru HDMI Out, which goes into your projector

HDMI out will go to the projector. RCA out will not give you desired picture quality. Laptop HDMI can go into any of the HDMI inputs in Receiver.

Thanks guys, I thought audio too transmitted to the projector if I use hdmi out.
