Hi Friends,
I am using Edifier s550 5.1 multimedia speakers.Initially they were connected to my PC .For the past 2 months they have been connected with my amplifier NADT752 , initially they sounded brilliant and i could easily feel difference in sound quality (i.e with and without amplifier) .
but now after 2 months of use i can feel ( or better hear) that there is an considerable degradation in there sound quality. The sound has become harsh , some frequencies are missing and some are very low.The sound is just un-audible ( for average audiophile ears). I am sure that speakers might have damaged due to amp output but how can i make it sure.
The speakers are still under warranty and now i have placed the amp in different room and connected them back through Sub-woofer ( in built amp)
Now the Big question is " how can i convince the service guy from company that sound is un-audible and speakers might have damaged/degraded over a period of 6-7 months".
I need suggestion from all as i would be scheduling the visit by service guy for Saturday.
