How to Connect Z5500 to a LCD

Hi Guys,

Its been a while that i now have the great Logitech z 5500. I love the Bass and the mids are very very clear.

I have one great issue:

1. I am unable to get 5.1 surround sound even on Pro Logic Movie/Music mode when i have connected the LCD to my 5500 via a RCA Two to one 3.5 mm Jack.
2. Here is a pic of the TV that i have:

3. I have connected the 3.5mm jack to the one of the following ports:

4. However when i connect my mobile to the 5500 through one of the ports at the side:

I easily get 5.1 sound in prologic modes.

Please advise on how can i get 5.1 sound in Prologic mode from TV

PS:i donot have a STB...

A THE AUDIO OUT YOU ARE TAKING IS FROM THE WRONG PORT...

CONNECT IT TO THE RIGHT ONES THAT SHOW l+r ( AUDIO)

B CONNECT IT TO ANY OF THE ANALOG PORT BEHIND ( I MEAN ANY )

C SMALL SWITCH NEXT TO OPTICAL INPUT.. KEEP IT ON STEREO.

D REMOTE SELECT DIRECT ( THEN SELECT MODES YOU WANT )
STEREO /X2/PROLOGIC

YOU WILL NOT GET 5.1 FROM tv AS TV DOES NOT HAVE A DIGITAL OUT.


the connection u made from tv is wrong .. connect to only audio l+r

then behind analog and select stereo with the switch.

and all set..
