How to control Kodi using google home

Hi..when I googled on how to control Kodi using Google Assistant, many links came up and couple that I opened had NVidia Shield with Kodi. I have a desktop connected to my receiver then to TV and got a Google Mini yesterday. The below thread doesnt mention shield but gives few options...i am not that smart technically..pls let me know what option of below can be used to control Kodi using the mini
