how to convert flac to cd format

@ OP heliumflight
Do remember to use
audiochecker
http://download.freewarefiles.com/files/Audiochecker_beta_2.0.0.457.zip
(this link doesn't seem to be working NOW on my connection, so, should you face the same problem Google and download accordingly from sites like brothersoft etc)

OR
audiotester (not tried by me)
http://www.audiotester.de/aud30d_installer.exe

OR
some similar utility

to ascertain original source from which the FLAC file(s) was/were ripped. No point wasting effort and CDs if the FLAC files were converted from say low quality/bitrate mp3 files.

Cheerio

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
