is there anyone who can help in building the cabinet in delhi/ ncr? It may need lots of tools that I do not have.

Rythmik also sells the subs as diy kit. The kit includes the amp, driver and plans to build it. You can order it from the US site and get it shipped to India. Then have it built as per the plans. This will reduce the shipping cost a lot.

Well i am also interested in getting one built. I do not have the expertise but if someone in delhi/ncr is willing to do it. you can count me in for one order ofcourse at a reasonable price.

..yea...pretty sad. Looks like among the 3 better sub's only SVS is available. Not the HSU nor Rythmik. I can understand if a particular brand is not available. But HSU was available, now withdrawn is not good.

I don't have much cabinet building skills. But I have seen the plans of Rythmik and other diy subs. There are lots of examples of inside bracings. Rythmik's are usually downfiring. So, the bottom baffle should be double thickness and that carries most of the load. The sides have to strengthened for flexing. The braces will do that. A carpenter will be able to do it right, if you showed them images. The carpenters in India build big things like TV showcases, big beds and other complex furniture. The sub cabinet bracing can be a simple thing for them.

Get a good carpenter, show them the plan and see how comfortable they are. Also, depending on your like, you can get different finishes on the sub. Take a look at some of the DIY sub builds on internet.

Audire have stopped selling SVS subs . according to them many failures in pieces .. They are now dealing with Jl audio now .
After reading this thread I have no comments about that .
