Hi guys... My cus'ns nd me have also been on the lookout for a first time ht setup... In chennai.. Been to onkyo, pro fx, reliance... Planning to do yam tomorrow...I'm still learning the ropes of the ht world and badly want to get a bang for the buck for my cuz...not too sure.. If I can cross a budget of 40k... But that's my mark up...would greatly appreciate Insights, discounts being offered, clubbing purchase... Anythin that would help!!

Guys, please suggest a good 2.0 music system, budget is 50k. I need a stereo amp and 2 speakers as of now. CD Player will come later.

Rs 13,000/= is the best Price or can we bargain? I am looking for a sub woofer within this range.
How good it is compared with wharfedale SW 150?

I liked the Yamaha 292 5.1 package at Rs35000, the sound quality was very good. Also, there is a sony home theater at Rs 20000 which was quite good.
somehow i did not like the Polk, Onkyo, Denon 35-45k price range HT systems.
