Pinging all FM's who have installed or have a good understanding of the requirements for ceiling mount speakers in bedroom and places with high humidity like swimming pool area / Washroom.

What I am trying to achieve: 2 ceiling mount in the bedroom and 2 ceiling or box mount in the washroom driven by NAD 356 with A & B speaker terminals. 1 sub in the bedroom for bass duty.

Present Condition: Ceilings are bare in both the bedroom and washroom.

Plan 1: False ceiling with plywood in the bedroom. Not covering the entire ceiling space but about 6 by 8 feet above the bed area. 2 x 8 ohms normal drivers.

Plan 2: Some sort of humidity-proof (waterproof ply?) enclosure in the corners of the washroom which could be either 2 corner enclosures or a single rectangular enclosure about 5 x 1 x 1 foot with 2 x 8 ohms humidity-proof drivers. (Maybe even some kind of trapezoidal enclosure for angling the speaker downwards towards the listening spot?)

Inclined towards Polk Audio at the moment.
Cheers - Mayank
