I have a blu ray cd rom.If i purchase a 3d tv and put my pc in lan can i play 3d blu ray from my rom.

Does your BD ROM support 3D? If not you can't play 3d videos.

Playback of 3d through lan won't be possible due to the high bandwidth requirement for 3d videos.

For 3d playback from your pc, you should invest in a 3d BD Rom and a graphics card with 3d HDMI out.

Also your 3d tv should have networking capabilities ... wifi wont be enough .. so dlna support would be required if you are not going via an avr
