I have a sony home theatre 5.1 with only 2 audio inputs as shown in the http://i1223.photobucket.com/albums/dd517/Mubashir_Anwar/DSC09485.jpg

and i have to connect my pc audio out with it. I tried to connect the "audio out" from the pc to the "audio in" in the dvd played in the "MD(video) ports" as shown in the photo but it did not played the true surround sound and was playing a sterio sound. My realtek HD audio supports my 5.1 surround so there is no plroblem in my sound card. I also conducted a test through my realtek sound driver but still only sound from 2 speakers came. I want the true surround system to be played so what should I do? PLEASE HELP!!

You won't get true surround using the inputs of your home theater. For this your amp should have 5.1 analog inputs or digital input. My suggestion is to upgrade to a better HTIB like Onkyo 3400 or an amplifier with 5.1 analog inputs.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
