ilayaraja songs poor recording doubts..

hi friends,

i have some doubts regarding some of following ilayaraja songs was poorly recorded in lab or what went wrong..

i have lots of variety CDs from same songs including old originals and mp3s.. all are same results..

but i remembered when i was listened it with old record (vinyl) to cassette player on those days,those problems werent appeared..

what happened to this recordings? or anybody have good copy of recording of this songs?

these are completely poorly recorded in CDs when compared with vinyl recorded songs..

please help

1. thendral katre - kumbakarai thangaiah
( treble comes right side only)

2. yeh marikkolunthu - puthu nellu puthu nathu
( very soft and muddy recording.. very low high frequency)

3. thooliyile - chinna thambi
(very soft and muddy recording.. very low high frequency)

4. yethetho - punnagai mannan
(slightly harsh recording when compared with other songs from this movie)

5. keladi kanmani and kalyana malai - puthu puthu arthangal
( very low high frequencies from both the songs )

( treble comes right side only) - I have the WAV file, yes.. your observation in right... Even i felt the same...

2. yeh marikkolunthu - puthu nellu puthu nathu
( very soft and muddy recording.. very low high frequency) - This is again WAV file.... This sounded ok to me...

3. thooliyile - chinna thambi
(very soft and muddy recording.. very low high frequency) - WAV file (Female voice) ... Very good i would say......

4. yethetho - punnagai mannan
(slightly harsh recording when compared with other songs from this movie) - WAV file... Not really.... They were on par with other songs from the movie...

5. keladi kanmani and kalyana malai - puthu puthu arthangal
( very low high frequencies from both the songs ) - I have both FLAC & WAV version of these movies....The WAV version sounded good....

Could you share the Secret of getting Wav or flac for Isaigyani's music.

Any online store available?Am badly madly looking for Ninaivellam nithya and paneer puspangal

Its Almost summer and i can feel being in Ooty just by playing these Music

i tried those songs from wav file also.. but mine seems same feeling as mp3s..

if possible please send 2 songs only (keladi kanmani and kalyana malai song) the mp3 files to my mail id [email protected] for checking the differences..

and one more doubts , do you know any of recording center doing record the old songs from vinyl records to CD without equilization?

A common friend of my colleague in office is a "Die Hard" fan of Illayaraja... So i was fortunate enough to get some good collection of his files in Digital....

Some of them in MP3, WAV,FLAC & some converted to flac from mp3.... Some are very genuine after validating using spek....

Am not too sure if his recordings are aval online....
